I can see you're somewhere far away

Shouldn't worry about
The worst that could be

Libertate
Tînjim după libertate. O primim (avem impresia, mai exact) şi nu ştim ce să facem cu ea.
Lucrăm ca să avem libertate financiară. Lucrînd nu ne simţim liberi. Ne dorim mai mult timp pentru noi.
Emigrăm din ţara în care ne-am născut şi am crescut. Ca să fim mai liberi. Ca să putem face mai multe lucruri. Ne simţim străini printre toate aceste lucruri.
Renunţăm la relaţii. Pentru libertate. Prea multă libertate.
Plecăm de lîngă părinţi. Pentru că ne condiţionează libertatea. Dar ştim ce să facem cu libertatea necondiţionată?
Facem rău. Pentru că avem libertatea să facem orice.
Ne comportăm ca nişte tirani. Pentru că alţii nu sunt liberi. Nici noi.
Distrugem natura. Pentru că e mai liberă decît noi.
Luptăm.
Călătorim.
Facem bungee-jumping.
Nu facem bungee-jumping.
Că doar suntem liberi să facem ce vrem (şi ce nu vrem)
Visăm. Visele ne dau aripi.
Citim. Cărţile ne dau iluzia libertăţii şi ne distrag atenţia de la nelibertate.
Îmbătrînim. Oare am fost liberi?
..Poate nepoţii.
